Who is HouseRoster for?
Private households and the staff who work for them: cleaners, nannies, gardeners, chefs, and similar. It's for organising people you already work with, not for finding or hiring new staff.
Can I be both a host and a staff member?
Yes. One account covers both. You can run your own household and also work shifts for someone else, all from the same login.
Can I try it before signing up?
Yes. Download the app and tap "Try a Demo". No account needed. It loads a fully populated example so you can explore everything straight away.
Is it really free?
Staff get everything they need to do their job for free. Hosts are free for one household and one staff connection. Premium unlocks multiple households and staff, the analytics dashboard, calendar sync, and priority support.
Does HouseRoster handle payments?
No. HouseRoster helps you track the expected amount and whether a shift has been paid. It's record-keeping, not money movement: it does not process payroll or handle taxes.
How do you handle privacy?
