Delete your HouseRoster account
This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.
Delete from inside the app
If you can sign in, this is the fastest way:
- Open HouseRoster.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account → Schedule deletion, and confirm.
- Your account is then scheduled for permanent deletion. You can cancel any time during the grace period from the same screen.
Can't sign in?
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We'll verify ownership and delete your account on your behalf.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data, including:
- Your profile and sign-in details
- Your app settings and preferences
- Households you own and their shifts
- Your connections (the staff and hosts you manage or work with)
- Messages you sent and your conversations
- Notifications and registered devices
- Your subscription records held by HouseRoster
What may be retained
Some operational records that other people relied on (for example, a shift another household scheduled) may be kept in an anonymized or restricted form where required to serve those other users or to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations. These records no longer identify you.
Note: subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage or cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings to stop future charges.
Timeline
When you request deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 14-day grace period. Your account keeps working during those 14 days, and you can cancel the deletion any time before the scheduled date from Settings → Delete Account in the app (or by emailing [email protected]). Once the grace period ends, your account and personal data are permanently deleted and this cannot be undone.
